This study provides a<br>step in understanding the existing customer relationship management practices in banks in the public sector and private sector banks. This study<br>is an example of the knowledge that can be gained in understanding the effectiveness of customer relationship management strategies in the<br>banking sector, the customer relationship management is one such tool which helps in meeting the customer's expectations according to their<br>changing needs. The study is a descriptive one. Primary data collected with the help of structured questionnaire administrated to Customers of<br>Private and Public Sector Banks at Kanyakumari District. 335 respondents were selected by adopting simple random sampling using lottery<br>method. The Data is collected from the top two banks (Private Sector and Public Sector Banks). Arumugasamy krunal@indianjournalofappliedresearch.com <p>A Study on Job Satisfaction of Higher Secondary School Teachers in Kanyakumari District”<br>was undertaken to find out the school teachers job satisfaction in kanyakumari district. This study helps<br>to suggest suitable recommendation to improve the job satisfaction in Kanyakumari district school teachers. The primary<br>data were collected with the help of a questionnaire from the higher secondary school teachers working in Kanyakumari<br>district. Random sampling method has been adopted for choosing the sample from Nagercoil, Kuzhithurai, Thuckalay educational<br>districts in Kanyakumari district. Data were collected from 5% population (7500*5/100) therefore the total number of<br>sample size is 375. The collected data were analyzed by using relevant statistical techniques like mean, standard deviation,<br>correlation co-efficient, ANOVA factor analysis and regression analysis. The study was made higher secondary school teachers<br>in Kanyakumari district for a period of one year from June 2009 to may 2010. The present study was confined to the job<br>satisfaction of higher secondary school teachers working in Kanyakumari district. The study elicited many factors responsible<br>for job satisfaction and for the changes in the attitude of teachers. The study concludes that among all the categories of<br>teachers the aided school teachers in Kanyakumari district have better job satisfaction in many aspects. The study reveals<br>that self-financing school teachers face a lot of problems when compared with the Government and aided higher secondary<br>school teachers. The researcher has also made many suggestions for the redressal of the problems faced by the higher<br>secondary school teachers.
